WAY BACK WHEN...

Becky is the oldest child of Albert and Arabella Anderson. Albert was a successful farmer for the first part of Becky's life, but a string of bad weather years, caused him to loose everything and forced him to move his family to the city to take a job with the Ministry. It was about then, that the drinking started, due to the stress of providing for his growing family. She was the middle child in a magical family, so it was with no surprise, after her brother proved to magical, that Becky was seen to be the same after she accidently broke every single one of her mother's best china when she was just two years old.
Becky was eight years old when her father first hit her in a drunken rage. He had been beating on her mother for about a year, but this was the first time for her. Her older brother tried to protect her and her younger sister as much as he could, but he could only do so much.
The abuse continued for years. She did get some relief when she got her letter the morning of her eleventh birthday, but even the brief respet did little to help her. She did her best to hide the bruises and the scars, and she was mostly successful, but she knew that people talked, She accepted her role as the outcast, though longing for at least one friend who would accept her. So it was with little surprise that she was sorted into Hufflepuff. She had been told this was the house that took “the rest” so she felt as thoug she fit right in.
Making the Hufflepuff quiddich team did help, but deep down, she knew she would have to live with this secret for the rest of her life. She also struggles with her sexuality. It was only recently that she discovered that she was bisexual...something that her father just may kill her for if he ever found out.
